I don’t know where or when the Art Blob Challenge started, but I saw a YouTube video where an artist painted watercolor blobs and then drew pumpkins from the blobs of paint. I thought it was cute and since it’s Halloween Season, I thought I’d do it in my sketchbook with markers. I could definitely do this challenge again.

About the Art Blob Challenge – Pumpkins

It’s hard to draw the blobs knowing that I’m going to make pumpkins from them. I was constantly struggling to “not draw pumpkin shapes.” They’re odd little things that can take any shape. So I tried my hardest to not draw any blobs that are too obviously round and plump. I think that the more bizarre shapes made more interesting gords.
